Walker Tower – Room at the Top
On behalf of Landmark Branding LLC and nAscent Art New York, we’re pleased to say that our recent installment of “Room at the Top” was an amazing evening!
Over 40 real estate and arts & culture professionals gathered at Walker Tower for a completely booked private tour of the beautiful residential conversion of one of architect Ralph Walker’s Art Deco masterpieces. Landmark Branding’s David V. Griffin gave a brief talk about the structure’s architectural significance while designer Jarvis Wong spoke about his inspiration for the elegantly appointed lobby.
The tour then visited an 18th-floor apartment where top Douglas Elliman realtor Vickey Barron answered questions about the building’s conversion, history and availability; Jennifer and James Wallace, both of nAscent Art New York, spoke about the importance of art and architecture as economic drivers in New York and encouraged guests to enjoy a rooftop cocktail reception and networking session that featured stunning views of all of Manhattan from Walker’ Tower’s unique roof garden.
