“Room at the Top” Visits the Daily News Building

On behalf of Landmark Branding LLC, nAscent Art New York and SL Green, we’re pleased to say that our recent installment of “Room at the Top” was a complete success!

Over 30 professionals from the real estate and arts & culture worlds gathered at the landmarked Daily News Building for a completely booked private tour of the Art Deco masterpiece’s astounding lobby. Landmark Branding’s David V. Griffin gave a brief talk about the structure’s architectural history and relations to newspaper culture and Jennifer Wallace of nAscent Art New York followed with a description of the amazing globe that dominates this unique space.

The tour then visited the Penthouse Office for a reception on the 36th Floor terrace which offered glorious views of the Chrysler Building and Midtown East.  The unexpectedly mild weather induced guests to linger over champagne and conversation.

Thanks to Jennifer Hahn of SL Green for hosting and to TitleVest for providing valued corporate sponsorship as well as to all who attended and participated – visit this space for information on future “Room at the Top” events!

  1. Hi David. Are you still doing tours. If so, please keep me posted. I am also interested in the real estate community celebrating landmarks, not opposing them and the LPC. Maybe we should chat?
