“Room at the Top” at Stella Tower
Over 30 professionals from the real estate and arts & culture worlds gathered at Stella Tower for a completely booked private tour of the beautiful residential conversion of one of architect Ralph Walker’s Art Deco masterpieces. Jennifer Wallace opened the tour with remarks concerning the importance of art and architecture as economic drivers in New York and Landmark Branding’s David V. Griffin gave a brief talk about the structure’s architectural significance.
The tour then visited 16A, an elegant upper floor residence designed by Michael Dawkins, where top Douglas Elliman broker Vickey Barron answered questions about the building’s conversion, history and availability; guests enjoyed a cocktail reception on the 723 sq. ft. terrace and dessert at a second apartment, a spacious one-bedroom that featured stunning views of Midtown Manhattan.
